David Hershberg is currently a client engagement manager with Artefact, an award-winning technology, design and innovation company based out of Seattle, Washington. He helps the company identify and develop partnerships with leading companies and foundations, and leverage technology and design to solve complex challenges, resulting in positive impacts for business and society. Prior to working at Artefact, David spent ten years in the international development industry, where he designed and managed international programs to improve outcomes in education, healthcare, and humanitarian relief. His work took him for extended periods of time to Belize, the Philippines, Bangladesh, Africa, and Washington D. C. A native of New Orleans, David graduated from Loyola, University in 2005, and received a master’s degree in international development management from Brandeis University in 2012. Wherever he is in the world, New Orleans will always be home for David. He is grateful to JCRS for providing him with financial aid that helped to make his undergraduate degree and career possible.
